Tomorrow's the day, you guys! First drafts are due, and I'm so freaking excited to see the stories start coming into my inbox. I've got a couple of things for you:

    - Like I said before, please make sure to send your story as an attachment (either .doc or .txt file) to ettem7@gmail.com with the subject title "bittybang (first draft) from 'your lj username'." You can send it in anytime you like from now on! See here for more details.
    - Those of you who have asked for an extension, you have until midnight PDT on November 1st to get your draft sent in. I'm assuming that everyone who's still on this list will be sending me a draft, so I'm going to hold off on making the summary post until I've received mails from everyone.

This here is important. I've been going back and forth on it a lot and I've made my decision. I've been both seeing and hearing, through emails, a lot of stress about getting the first draft up to the desired word count by tomorrow. (And I can understand it, I'm stressing myself!) So I've decided, those of you who are on the verge of dropping out because you don't have time to complete the word count, send me your draft anyway. But only if you're COMPLETELY, one hundred percent sure that your story is going to be completed and ready for posting by November 30th. You also might have to make some special arrangements with your artist - perhaps keep sending them more of the story as you move along?

I realize that this is unfair to the writers who have completed their word count (and major props to you, I'm so impressed!), but I figure we all would rather have more stories to read come November 30th than to exclude those who just ended up not having enough time.

I really apologize if this offends anyone, but I hope this'll mean we'll get more stories to read in the end. :)

That being said, write like the WIND for the next two days if you haven't yet completed! I'm so exciiiiiited!

ETA: One more thing! I've made an edit in the rules that means that you don't have to send me a final draft by November 23rd. Once I get your first draft, just make sure you have your story ready for posting by November 30th. YAY!
